The North Melbourne Football Club is a club in Melbourne, who came from humble beginnings in 1869. They play their home games at Etihad Stadium (formerly Telstra Dome) and the club's colors are blue and white.Known as the "Kangaroo", based in Arden Street, has won 4 Premierships since joining the league and most recently in 1999 when they defeated Carlton.

The Roosters have struggled financially over the years, but have produced the likes of Malcolm Blight, Wayne Schimmelbusch, Wayne Carey and Glenn Archer. Nth Melbourne Football Club is a proud, good for their "Shinboner Spirit ', which comes to the fore when it was known to the crunch.
